The Gap

A 60 hr film production with the prompt "distance", being assistant director for a short turnaround, it was important to be incredibly organized in terms of cast and crew. This required a detailed expense list through Excel, a categorized Discord group for all those involved, and calls daily with different aspects of the team to ensure efficiency.

My dear friend and director Kian Schmeer wanted this shoot to be a lot more improvised visually, focusing less on a specific shot list while sticking to the script to a tee. This made the shoot incredibly fun for our friends with an end result that fit our vision. All shot on a Blackmagic 6K camera and edited utilizing DaVinci Pro Studio.
